Project Management for Business Central – Financial Allocations

The standard jobs functionality in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central helps you to manage projects and contracts for your organization. This functionality enables users to define project structures, plan and manage tasks in projects and manage project budgets vs. actuals. This functionality works well for many companies but is not always sufficient for project-centric businesses to run their business well.

The Prodware Project Management for Business Central is made up of different apps that take the standard jobs functionality a few steps further and increases the efficiency & flexibility of managing projects and providing better insights. This results in time savings and error reduction and enhances the ability to complete projects on schedule and within budget.

The Financial Allocations app provides classifications that can be used to characterize and budget for global and project specific work and additional costs of the project. Classifications can be used in financial analysis and reporting. This keeps the project budget versus classified costs transparent and allows for comparison of classified costs across projects. The financial allocations can be default setup on the Job Task Line.

The Financial Allocations app empowers the project manager to manage the financials of the projects according to customer expectations.
